I surprised Jean and came home earlier today!! Everyone – pets included had a wonderful homecoming. 53 days, 9,501 miles and 24 States later …. I’m finally home again!!

Flea Market Day!! In Pacifica, CA. It was really nice and the weather cooperated pretty well. It went from cool and windy to nice and warm. I kept my jacket on all day and my knit hat went on and off I bought some chachkis and a nice flashlight for my wheelchair.

Today is the 50th day of my trip!!! Wow, just under 9,000 miles traveled.

I had a great night’s sleep last night and was up at the crack of 8am today! Mike made a wonderful breakfast with Raisin Bagels, Scrambled Eggs, Tasty Taters and Sausage. I’m stuffed again just typing it all.

Today was a driving day. About 370 miles total. It gave me a chance to catch up on some conversations with friends and family that I’ve been meaning to make for a few weeks. I’ve also planned out the remaining days of my trip.
