I, belong in the zoo – the Defiance Point Zoo in Tacoma, WA!!
I was up before 9am for the first time in weeks. My friends Ron and Fran were coming down from Snohomish, WA and we decided to meet in Tacoma at the Zoo & Aquarium since they were driving past it and we were going to have to take separate cars anyway. My van is loaded to the hilt with “stuff” and there isn’t any room left for humans other than myself.

We met in the parking lot and enjoyed some brief conversation before entering the zoo. It was chilly and overcast so we went into the Aquarium first and enjoyed taking photos of some of the exotic fish. After the Aquarium we had some “yummy” lunch by Zoo fast-food standards We enjoyed walking around and seeing some of the “pretty faces” {many only a mother could love} in the different international cages. Below are some pictures of the critters; large and small that we saw. We’ll meet up tomorrow morning and have breakfast together and then see about finding a Museum to visit.
